Every year on the 29th of April dancers and dance lovers around the world gather to enjoy and celebrate dance.
This year we invite you to celebrate with us from the comfort of your home. You are welcome to join a remarkable collective of international dance artists and teachers who are going to excite and move you.
For anyone who loves dance, movement, creativity and physical activity.

Hip-Hop Foundations with Rachel Sheil
10.15 am – 10.45 am GMT+1hr
The class will begin with a lively warm-up to Hip-Hop mixes where everyone can follow along and build up heat in the body. We will then learn some basic foundations of Hip-Hop including some grooves, social dance moves and small combinations. This class will be energetic with more music and movement than talking.

Ballet à Terre with Veronika Sardiko
11.00 am – 11.30 am GMT+1hr
In this class we take the basic ballet barre training from the standing position to the floor, taking the effort of standing out of the equation. The class improves flexibility as well as help to prevent injury.

Contemporary Dance with Mihaela Griveva
11.40 am – 12.10 pm GMT+1hr
An easy to follow dance class designed to free your mind and get your daily physical boost. Each class is a guided session allowing you to connect to your inner rhythm and explore your own unique movement range. A joyful approach to mindfulness and movement.

Classical Ballet with Maria O’Malley
12.20 pm – 12.50 pm GMT+1hr
Maria’s Ballet barre work focuses mainly on posture, alignment, clarity of steps and the use of feet. Barre exercises are kept simple, very “square” in order to keep the correct technique whilst training at home. Maria may combine Vaganova, Cuban and the British styles in her classes.

Dance on Film with Kosta Karakashyan
1 pm – 1.30pm GMT+1hr
Тhis short Dance on Film workshop will offer a conceptual and practical guide to creating a dance film in the current situation. Through defining three key principles: conflict, continuity, and composition, we will explore why and how to create a film right now, followed by exercises to kickstart our creative process. Participants will be able to consult Kosta on further developing their idea after the workshop.
